On November 2, 2019, at approximately 2:19 PM, deputies were dispatched to a vacant lot located at the intersection of Galley Road and Powers Boulevard in reference to a found body. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a deceased male with suspicious injuries. The deputies contacted our Major Crimes Detectives and they took over the scene.
The El Paso County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Thomas Anthony Faircloth.
On March 9, 2020, our detectives completed an in-custody booking on Randy Bishop (DOB: 03/12/1984) charging him with: Second Degree Murder, C.R.S. 18-3-103, a class 2 Felony. Bishop was already incarcerated in the El Paso County Jail at the time of this arrest.
On March 12, 2020, our detectives arrested Catherine Sanford (DOB: 12/02/1987) charging her with: Accessory to a Crime, C.R.S. 18-8-105 (3), a class 4 Felony. Catherine was booked into the El Paso County Jail.
