Judicial Liaison
The Judicial Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining effective interagency relationships between the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, Problem Solving Courts, Pretrial Services, the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Public Defender, the Judiciary, the Board of County Commissioners and the public. To provide ongoing analysis of Sheriff’s Office business operations for efficacy and efficiency and act in collaboration with other stakeholders in making program decisions.
The Judicial Liaison represents the interests of the Sheriff’s Office at stakeholder meetings and make recommendations in accordance with program goals and mission of the organization. To provide information and statistical data regarding success rates of projects to Sheriff and other stakeholders as appropriate. The Judicial Liaison will problem solve in collaboration with other stakeholders to insure the resolution of issues, the public safety and best interests of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the community.
