At approximately 3:53 pm today, a call came into the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center, where the reporting party stated there was a deceased individual located in a field in Midway Estates, near the intersection of El Hambre View and Rancho Colorado Boulevard in unincorporated El Paso County.

El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies responded, found a deceased adult male, and secured the scene.

Currently, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division is on location, along with our partners at the Metro Crime Lab, processing the scene.

This is an active ongoing investigation. Our Office will release additional details to the public as they become available.

There is no known threat to the public or surrounding neighborhood.

The identification of the deceased individual will come from the El Paso County Coroner’s Office.
