On May 24, 2025, at approximately 4:50 a.m., the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Regional Communications Center received multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting individuals breaking into vehicles in the 2300 block of Klein Place, located in the Cimarron Hills area of unincorporated El Paso County.

As of May 28, 2025, 139 sentenced inmates (post-trial) are currently housed at the El Paso County Jail. These individuals await available bed space within the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC).

Last week, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office proudly hosted the Level I Regional Mounted Unit Academy at the Norris Penrose Event Center in El Paso County, Colorado.

Today, El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal released information regarding individuals who have been transferred to the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since January 2025, from the El Paso County Jail.

On May 12, 2025, at approximately 5:05 AM, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check at a residence in the 19000 block of Crows Nest Way, located in the Woodmoor area of unincorporated El Paso County.

In October 2024, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Regional Communications Center received information from an elderly citizen who stated they had been a victim of a scamming phone call.

On Sunday, April 27, 2025, at approximately 3:30 am, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted the U.S.

On April 23, 2025, at approximately 11:53 pm, a call came into the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Regional Communications Center, reporting a domestic violence assault at a residence in the 1400 block of Hathaway Drive in the Cimarron Hills area of unincorporated El Paso County.

This Wednesday, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office was honored to receive a $15,000 donation from God’s Pantry Ministry, a local non-profit located in the Security-Widefield area of unincorporated El Paso County. 

This weekend, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit conducted a surge operation to reduce speeding and impaired driving on roads in unincorporated El Paso County.
