The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Citizen Patrol Unit is seeking motivated individuals to join the ranks of this highly dedicated all-volunteer team.

On Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 1:00 PM, the Sheriff's Office will present a 911 Hero Award to 10 year old Katelyn Clibon.  The presentation will be held at the El Paso/Teller County 911 building, located at 2350 Airport Road.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify a suspect in connection with an Aggravated Robbery. On Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at approximately 4:14 AM, a suspect approached the counter of the 7-Eleven located at 1475 B Street in Colorado Springs.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce a new way for friends, family, and professionals to visit an inmate. As of June 1, 2017, visitors can use a personal computer to visit from home or the office.

On June 12, 2017, at about 1:15 PM, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a road rage and assault incident that occurred at the 2100 block of Old Stage Road on June 11, 2017.

On March 9, 2017, a victim’s residence in El Paso County was burglarized and several items including a checkbook were stolen.  On three separate occasions, the suspect made unauthorized transactions using the stolen checks at the King Soopers located at 500 E Bromley Lane, in Brighton, Colorado

Precious Naomi Myers DOB: 06/02/02, was last seen on foot leaving her residence in the 2400 Block of Piros Dr., in Colorado Springs on April 20, 2017. She was possibly in the company of her friend, Tulane Dersno DOB: 08/04/00.

On Sunday, May 14, 2017, between approximately 3:00 PM-4:00 PM, a victim accidentally left their wallet in a shopping cart at one of the cart return areas in the WalMart parking lot located at 6310 S. Hwy 85/87 in Fountain.

On Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at approximately 10:27AM, Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a bomb threat involving extortion at the U. S. Brokers Inc, located at 1832 Woodmoor Dr. in Monument.

On Friday, May 12, 2017, at approximately 5:32 PM, a suspect entered the Kwik Way Convenience Store located at 6910 Palmer Park Blvd.

The Sheriff’s Office made arrests in a highly sophisticated operation involving forgery and identity theft.  The suspect was making counterfeit bills and stealing identities using high quality bills with holographic markings that passed the marker test.

On Monday, May 8, 2017, at approximately 6:30 PM, the Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center  received a 911 call regarding a stabbing in the 7900 block of Weatherstone Drive.

On Sunday, May 7, 2017, at approximately 1244 PM, The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a parachute accident which occurred approximately a quarter mile south of the 22500 block of Jones Road.

On Friday, April 28, 2017, Israel Jimenez-Roldan, DOB:  9/26/1969, AKA Puerto-Rico  AKA Rico was booked into the Criminal Justice Center on the charge of Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender related Sheriff’s Office investigation of the murder of Lawrence Gloster who was found deceased in eastern El Paso County on April 8, 2017.  He also has a charge of Driving Under Restraint.

On Sunday, April 23, 2017, at approximately 6:15 PM, the Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call regarding a shooting in the 19800 block of Alexandria Drive.

When deputies arrived on scene they found a deceased adult male.

In early April, 2017, the Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit began an investigation on a Sexual Assault case.  The suspect in this case has been identified as Glenn Allan Lainfiesta DOB: 04/02/1973.

On Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at approximately 4:00 AM Deputies responded to Avocet Loop and Tierra Drive in reference to Criminal Trespass Auto and Burglary calls.  Victims reported an unknown number of suspects had broken into vehicles and used garage door openers to gain entrance into both res

On Saturday, April 8, 2017, at approximately 4:52 PM, Deputies were dispatched to the 21800 block of East Highway 24 regarding a found body.  When deputies arrived on scene they located a deceased male. 

The victim has been identified at 23 year old Lawrence D. Gloster II.
