The Sheriff's Office has received intelligence of another scam.  In these new cases the caller is asking for money for unpaid school tuition or back taxes using the Sheriff’s Office phone number 719-390-2000.  The caller threatens an arrest warrant will be issued if the money owed is not paid.

On June 18, 2016, at approximately 2:15 PM, The Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received multiple reports of an aircraft in distress with a subsequent parachute deployment in the area of Hwy 94 and Peyton Hwy.

On Monday, June 13, 2016, the Sheriff's Office took a report for missing person, Marko Skrabo, DOB 11/31/1982. He was last seen on May 31, 2016, by family in the Monument area. 

Mr. Skrabo is approximately 6’01 tall, 195lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Arvesto Goebel, DOB 5/11/1999. He was last seen on April 21, 2016, in the B Street area. 

Mr. Goebel is approximately 5’07 tall, 115lbs, with blonde hair and green eyes.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Marty Chandler, DOB 2/3/1964. He was last heard from on January 6, 2016 via a Facebook post.  His last known address is the 10000 block of West Highway 24.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Preston Chandler Brown. DOB: 06/18/00.  Preston was reported missing from the Chipita Park area.              

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in finding 18 year old Cevana Cummings.   Cevana was last seen about a month ago in the Security/Widefield area. 

On June 1, 2016, at approximately 7:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 6200 block of South Calhan Road.  Upon arrival deputies learned an argument between a father and daughter escalated to the point that the father pulled out a handgun and pointed it at his wife and daughter.

On Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at approximately 1:30 am, James T.  Woo, DOB: 07/05/77, was extradited from Washington State and booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on the charge of First Degree Murder.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in finding 16 year old Aujzne Kimble.   Aujzne was reported as a runaway on May 27, 2016, and was last seen in the 600 block of Birch Dr.

On May 22, 2016, Gustavo Torres-Gonzalez, DOB 11/25/1972 was arrested for the shooting death of Daryl Ritz, as well as unrelated charges out of Teller County Colorado.  Investigators are seeking the public’s help in this case.
